Uber now brings UberEATs, its food delivery app, to India.

UberEATS, started as a small food delivery pilot in Los Angeles, is now all set to take on India.   Its time for foodies to cheer up, after its success in the on-demand taxi aggregator services, Uber Technologies Inc. is gearing-up to deliver food at your doorsteps.   Initially, uberEATS will be making its way to Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, followed by tier-2 cities, depending on success of the service.   UberEATS was launched as a delivery pilot in Los Angeles in 2014. Since then, it has expanded to 58 cities. the service also exists in Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei.   Allen Penn, Asia Pacific’s head of UberEATS, sees tremendous potential ahead, “I am incredibly excited about bringing UberEATS to India. Samsung Pay on its way to India.

South Korean tech giant Samsung  is planning to launch its mobile payment wallet in India in the first half of 2017. Cashing on India's digital journey, the technology giant Samsung is all set to launch Samsung Pay App in India. Since last few days Samsung Galaxy Note 5  units in India started getting  an update that - among other things - brought along the Samsung Pay app. Now, the company has started pushing out a similar update to Galaxy A -7  units in India. According to reports, Samsung will be partnering with American Express (Amex) to bring its mobile payment solution to India.  The company is also exploring the possibility of partnering with two global financial services companies, Visa and MasterCard.  Samsung has previously partnered with these companies for its e-payment solutions in other regions such as with Amex in countries including the United States, Australia and South Korea. Survey on Modi App proves 93% support demonetisation.

More than 93 per cent of the five lakh people who participated in a survey on  Narendra Modi  App  have supported demonetisation, the  PMO  said today a day after the Prime Minister sought public feedback on the issue. "I thank people for the historic participation in the survey. It's satisfying to read the insightful views & comments," the Prime Minister tweeted along with the results of the survey conducted on  Narendra Modi  App. "Unprecedented response to  App  Survey, record number of citizens share their view," said the title of a write-up on narendramodi.In whose link was shared by the Prime Minister on his twitter account.
