Nokia all set to launch P1
Nokia is all set for its device launches at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
HMD Global flagged off its
Nokia Android phone lineup this year with the Nokia 6 mid-range smartphone. The
company is now largely expected to launch the Nokia P1 smartphone at its event
Mobile World Congress 2017. This is said to be a flagship device, and has been
extensively tipped running up to the rumoured launch date.
As per the video, the phone
comes with a metal frame and glass on both the sides without bezels. It is said
to have a Carl Zeiss lens-inbuilt camera, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type-C
charging port and dual stereo speakers. The phone is expected to be powered by
Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB internal memory, and will run
on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone packs 24 MP rear camera, 3500 mAh battery and
5.3 inch IGZO display. However,
the Samsung Galaxy S8 is reportedly going to be the first device to launch with
the latest Qualcomm processor, and given the Nokia P1 is pegged for an MWC
launch, this processor choice seems questionable.
