Oppo A57 comes with a 16MP front camera just like the Oppo F1s, and just been launched in India.


Oppo has launched A57, its latest selfie-centric smartphone in India on Tuesday at Rs. 14,990. It will be available in all leading offline retail and online stores like Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Amazon India starting February 3 in Gold colour variant, and is priced at Rs. 14,990.

The mid-ranged Oppo A57's highlight is the 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture lens and 1.12 micron pixel size. The front camera supports company's Beautify 4.0 mode with seven different beautify levels, along with support for 1080p video recording. The smartphone also comes with a 13MP rear camera with Sony's IMX258 image sensor and f/2.2 aperture lens.

The phone is running ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is backed by a 2900 mAh non-removable Li-ion battery and comes with sensors including an accelerometer, compass and a proximity sensor.

A57 supports connectivity via Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v401, GPS, GM radio and microUSB v2.0. The phone weighs 147 grams and its dimensions are 149.1 s 72.9 x 7.7 mm.

The A57 comes with 5.2-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels resolution) with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. This phone has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone comes with Triple SIM slot (Two 4G SIM cards and microSD).

Paytm launch services without internet.

Digital payments platform Paytm today announced a toll-free number to enable consumers and merchants without an internet connection to pay and receive money instantly and also recharge their mobile phones. Customers and merchants will need to register with Paytm their mobile number and set a four digit paytm PIN, the company said in a statement here. "They (users) can then enter the recipient's mobile number, amount and their Paytm PIN to successfully transfer the money from their Paytm wallet to another Paytm wallet," it said. "We are committed to enabling more and more Indians to transact digitally. The launch of our new toll free payment number (180018001234), is another significant step in that direction.
