 LYF has launched another new smartphone LYF F8. The Android smartphone has been listed on LYF website for Rs 4,199. The phone comes in Black and Blue colours.

The phone features a large 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display with AGC Glass screen protection. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) SoC, which is pared with Adreno 304 400MHz GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone also comes with a 128GB micro SD card slot. It has an 8MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, and there’s also a 5MP front camera. The camera is capable of recording at 720p and both have digital zoom of up to 6X supported.

The battery is 2000 mAh with up to 8 Hours of battery life being promised on 4G and five hours of HD video playback. The standby time is up to 160 hours. Video Recording : 720p @ 30 FPS.

Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, a micro USB port, Ambient Light, Accelerometer and Proximity. The handset measures 132.6mm x 66.2mm x 9.3 mm and weighs 138 grams

Paytm launch services without internet.

Digital payments platform Paytm today announced a toll-free number to enable consumers and merchants without an internet connection to pay and receive money instantly and also recharge their mobile phones. Customers and merchants will need to register with Paytm their mobile number and set a four digit paytm PIN, the company said in a statement here. "They (users) can then enter the recipient's mobile number, amount and their Paytm PIN to successfully transfer the money from their Paytm wallet to another Paytm wallet," it said. "We are committed to enabling more and more Indians to transact digitally. The launch of our new toll free payment number (180018001234), is another significant step in that direction.
