Uber now brings UberEATs, its food delivery app, to India.
UberEATS, started as a small food delivery pilot in Los Angeles, is now all set to take on India. Its time for foodies to cheer up, after its success in the on-demand taxi aggregator services, Uber Technologies Inc. is gearing-up to deliver food at your doorsteps. Initially, uberEATS will be making its way to Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, followed by tier-2 cities, depending on success of the service. UberEATS was launched as a delivery pilot in Los Angeles in 2014. Since then, it has expanded to 58 cities. the service also exists in Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei.
