Motorola set to launch E3 Power, a beefed up version of Moto E3.

Motorola is gearing up to launch the next-gen Moto E3 with improved features and hardware upgrade. Called Moto E3 Power,will be exclusively available on Flipkart.

Hardly three months after announcing the Moto E3 smartphone, Lenovo is set to launch the budget phone Moto E3 Power in India on September 19.

The smartphone was recently unveiled in Hong Kong for HKD 1,098 which comes about to Rs 9,500. The Moto E3 Power comes with a bigger battery, more storage space, and more memory than the Moto E3. The phone is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and supports fast charging.

Moto E3 Power has 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720p resolution, and is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory which is further expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Moto E3 Power features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. For your selfies, the device gets a 5-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. The dualSIM phone runs Android Marshmallow and supports 4G LTE connectivity.

Until now, Motorola’s E-series always had an entry-level price of around Rs 5,999, with Moto G series placed in the affordable segment, priced between Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,500. It remains to be seen how aggressive Motorola can get with the Moto E3 Power’s pricing in India.
