Nokia 216 Dual SIM will be available in India starting October 24. The smartphone is available in black, grey, and blue colour variants. Microsoft announced the launch of 'Nokia 216 Dual SIM' phone priced at Rs 2,495.  Nokia 216 Dual SIM comes with FM Radio, MP3 and video player. Devi ces can store up to 2,000 contacts with a memory card support of up to 32GB.  It can store up to 2,000 contacts. Nokia 216 Dual SIM is built of polycarbonate. The dimensions of the smartphone are 118.0×50.02×13.5mm. It weighs 83 gms.  Despite announcing plans to  sell its feature phone business  to FIH Mobile, a subsidiary of Foxconn, for $350 million earlier this year, Microsoft is still launching new Nokia phones. 

On Tuesday, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts disclosed that , his company’s wireless play was finally ready for prime time—almost. The new service will launch “somewhere in the middle of next year, maybe a little sooner, but not at the beginning of next year,” Roberts said at the  Goldman Sachs   Communacopia investor conference in New York on Tuesday. Roberts revealed that the Comcast "network" will launch by mid-2017 and put a large focus on Wi-Fi hotspots — similar to Google's Project Fi. When away from Wi-Fi connections, Comcast's service will run on the Verizon Wireless network. Roberts didn’t reveal any more details about this service during his talk at the investors conference, so it’s unclear right now what this service is going to be called, precisely when it’s going to arrive, and how much Comcast is going to charge for it. Director General of Civil Aviation bans use/carriage of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on planes. T he Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has banned the use/carriage of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 mobile phones on airplanes in India in the light of recent incidents involving battery issue, globally. Through it's notice dated September 9, DGCA has restricted passengers and the airlines from turning on or charging the phone on aircraft. The DGCA has also warned the airlines from stowing the phone in the check-in baggages.
